Three routines to run any topic
Every topic page works with these classroom routines. Pick one, project the questions, and let students do the talking.
5 minutes
Think–Pair–Share
Give students a question to think about alone for one minute, discuss in pairs for three, then share the best ideas with the class.
1 minute each
60-second challenge
One student speaks on a prompt for a full minute without stopping. A simple, high-energy way to build fluency and confidence.
3–4 minutes
Hot-seat
One student takes the hot-seat and answers rapid follow-up questions from classmates. Great for practising question forms.
