Say Hello

What to do: Practice out loud — alone, with a partner, or in front of a mirror. There is no score for this part. Just speak and have fun.

Step 1 — Greet

Say three different greetings out loud. Use one formal and one informal:

  • "Good morning! How are you?"
  • "Hi! How's it going?"
  • "Hello, nice to meet you."

Step 2 — Introduce yourself

Say this sentence about yourself. Change the words in bold:

"Hello, my name is [your name]. I'm [your age] years old, and I'm from [your country]. Nice to meet you!"

Step 3 — Ask a partner

  • "Where are you from?"
  • "How old are you?"
  • "What do you do?"
