Roleplay Roulette
Spin the wheel, take your roles and improvise. Every scene gives you a setting, two characters, a goal to reach and a handful of useful phrases. Stay in role, use the language, and see where the conversation goes.
How to play
- Choose a pair. Two students (or two small groups) come up to perform. The rest of the class is the audience.
- Spin a scene. The wheel lands on a scenario card with a setting, two roles, a goal and useful language.
- Improvise. Take a role each and act out the scene in English. Try to reach your goal and use the phrases on the card.
- Twist! If twists are on, a surprise can drop mid-scene — react to it and keep going.
- Next scene. A new pair, a new spin. There are no points — the fun is in the performance.
