Talk About Your Day

What to do: Practice out loud — alone, with a partner, or in front of a mirror. There is no score for this part. Just speak.
Audio 1Listen to an example
Listen first, then describe your own day.

Step 1 — Describe your morning

Say five things you do every morning. Use time expressions:

"I wake up at 6:30. Then I take a shower and have breakfast. I leave home at 7:45."

Step 2 — Add frequency

Now add always, usually, often, sometimes, or never:

  • "I always brush my teeth."
  • "I sometimes skip breakfast."
  • "I never drink coffee."

Step 3 — Ask a partner

  • "What time do you get up?"
  • "Do you exercise in the morning?"
  • "How often do you cook dinner?"
