Tommy's Big Adventure
Tommy the Turtle was very curious. He lived in a small pond with his family, but today, he wanted to explore the big, wide world!
Tommy slowly crawled out of the pond and onto the grassy shore. “Wow, the world is so big!” he said. Tommy saw colorful flowers, tall trees, and a butterfly flying by.
Tommy followed the butterfly. It flew up, up, up! But Tommy could only walk. “Wait for me!” he called.
Tommy kept walking until he found a big, red apple under a tree. “Mmm, I’m hungry,” said Tommy. He took a big bite. It was delicious!
After eating, Tommy felt tired. He found a soft patch of grass and decided to take a nap. “Exploring is fun, but I miss my home,” he thought.
Tommy woke up and saw the sun was setting. “Time to go home!” he said. He walked back to the pond, happy and sleepy.
Tommy finally reached the pond. His family was waiting for him. “I had a big adventure today!” he told them. Tommy was very happy to be home.
That night, Tommy slept under the stars, dreaming of more adventures. But he knew, no matter where he went, he would always come home.
