Bread
- Definition: A food made of flour, water, and yeast or another leavening agent, mixed together and baked.

Rice
- Definition: A cereal grain that is a staple food for a large part of the world’s population.
- Example: “We had rice with our chicken curry for dinner.”
Pasta
- Definition: A dish originally from Italy consisting of dough made from durum wheat and water, extruded or stamped into various shapes and typically cooked in boiling water.
- Example: “Spaghetti is my favorite type of pasta.”
Fruit
- Definition: The sweet and fleshy product of a tree or other plant that contains seed and can be eaten as food.
- Example: “I like to eat fresh fruit for a snack.”
Vegetables
- Definition: A plant or part of a plant used as food, such as a cabbage, potato, turnip, or bean.
- Example: “It’s important to eat vegetables with every meal.”
Meat
- Definition: The flesh of an animal (especially a mammal) as food.
- Example: “We had grilled meat and vegetables for dinner.”
Fish
- Definition: A limbless cold-blooded vertebrate animal with gills and fins living wholly in water.
- Example: “We had fish and chips for lunch.”
Chicken
- Definition: The flesh of the chicken used as food.

Egg
- Definition: An oval or round object laid by a female bird, reptile, fish, or invertebrate, usually containing a developing embryo.
