My Typical Day

Hi there! My name is Emily, and I want to tell you about my typical day. I wake up at 7 o’clock every morning. After getting out of bed, I brush my teeth and take a quick shower. Then, I have breakfast with my family. We usually eat cereal and drink orange juice.

After breakfast, I go to school. I walk to school because it’s not far from my house. School starts at 8:30, and I have classes until 1 o’clock in the afternoon. During lunch break, I eat sandwiches with my friends in the school cafeteria.

When school is over, I come back home and do my homework. Sometimes it’s easy, but other times it’s really challenging! After finishing my homework, I like to relax and watch TV or play video games for a while. Then, it’s time for dinner. My mom cooks dinner for us, and we eat together as a family.

After dinner, I help my mom clean up the dishes. Then, I usually spend some time chatting with my friends online or reading a book before going to bed. I try to go to sleep around 10 o’clock so I can wake up feeling refreshed for another day.
